PAROLES OUVRIERES, PAROLES DE WONDER

Directed by : Richard Copans

June 10, 1968 : at the Wonder factory in Saint-Ouen, the workers return to their jobs after occupying the site for several weeks. In a short film shot at the time, a young woman shouts out that she will not join them. "Paroles ouvrières, paroles de Wonder" is like an archaeological dig that reconstructs the company's history from this powerful moment in May-June 1968. It marked a turning point in the life of the factory, the end of paternalism, the transformation of the unions, the beginnings of a modernization that would end with Bernard Tapie and subsequent liquidation.
